
Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon’s post-apocalyptic dystopian action film remains steady at the box office. It is showing no improvement. The film took six days to reach a mere Rs 10-crore mark at the domestic box office. ‘Ganapath’ features Tiger Shroff in the titular role of an ‘immortal’ mercenary in what is being hailed as a futuristic film. Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of his grandfather. Kriti Sanon also has several action sequences in the film.

Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon’s ‘Ganapath’ was released in theatres on October 20. The action drama earned just Rs 2.50 crore in India on its opening day, making it Tiger’s lowest opening ever. The film has been receiving a lukewarm response from the critics and audiences alike.
On Day 6, October 25, ‘Ganapath’ collected Rs 1.1 crore as per early trade estimates. This takes the film’s six-day total collection to Rs 10.90 crore. ‘Ganapath’ recorded an occupancy of 9.73 per cent on October 25.
ALL ABOUT ‘GANAPATH’
In this world, Ganapath aka Guddu (Tiger Shroff) is the messiah of the poor who is unaware of his destiny in the first half of the film. Upon learning about his identity, the playboy and flamboyant Guddu transforms into Ganapath, the hero to his people. In his fight, he finds love and a partner in Jassie (Kriti Sanon), who is trained in martial arts and is capable of knocking off a group of strong men.
Meanwhile, the film grabbed eyeballs as it marks Tiger Shroff’s second collaboration with Kriti Sanon after their debut film ‘Heropanti’ in 2014.
