‘Ganapath’ box office collection Day 6
Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon’s post-apocalyptic dystopian action film remains steady at the box office. It is showing no improvement. The film took six days to reach a mere Rs 10-crore mark at the domestic box office. ‘Ganapath’ features Tiger Shroff in the titular role of an ‘immortal’ mercenary in what is being hailed as a futuristic film. Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of his grandfather. Kriti Sanon also has several action sequences in the film.
‘GANAPATH’ BOX OFFICE COLLECTION
Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon’s ‘Ganapath’ was released in theatres on October 20. The action drama earned just Rs 2.50 crore in India on its opening day, making it Tiger’s lowest opening ever. The film has been receiving a lukewarm response from the critics and audiences alike.
On Day 6, October 25, ‘Ganapath’ collected Rs 1.1 crore as per early trade estimates. This takes the film’s six-day total collection to Rs 10.90 crore. ‘Ganapath’ recorded an occupancy of 9.73 per cent on October 25.
ALL ABOUT ‘GANAPATH’
In this world, Ganapath aka Guddu (Tiger Shroff) is the messiah of the poor who is unaware of his destiny in the first half of the film. Upon learning about his identity, the playboy and flamboyant Guddu transforms into Ganapath, the hero to his people. In his fight, he finds love and a partner in Jassie (Kriti Sanon), who is trained in martial arts and is capable of knocking off a group of strong men.
Meanwhile, the film grabbed eyeballs as it marks Tiger Shroff’s second collaboration with Kriti Sanon after their debut film ‘Heropanti’ in 2014.

In the 29th match of the ICC World Cup, India scored 180 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 40 overs against England.
In the match being played at the Lucknow Cricket Stadium, Indian openers failed to give a good start to the team, opener Shibman Gul 9, Shreyas Iyer 4, KL Rahul 39 while Virat Kohli returned to the pavilion for zero, captain Rohit Sharma hit 3 sixes and 10 fours. Played an innings of 87 runs with the help of Surya Kumar Yadav is at the crease after scoring 25 runs.
For England, Chris Woakes and David Wiley took 2, 2 while Adil Rashid took one wicket.
Earlier, the captain of the English team, Jos Buttler, won the toss and decided to field.

‘Tejas’ box office collection day 1
‘Tejas’ was released in theatres on October 27. On its opening day, the film has collected approximately Rs 1.25 crore.

Kangana Ranaut-starrer ‘Tejas’ was released in the theatres on October 27. Directed by Sarvesh Mewara, the film is about a brave air force officer, Tejas Gill. While it was one of the most-awaited releases of the month, it looks like the film is yet to take off.According to early estimates, ‘Tejas’ collected Rs 1.25 crore across the nation on Day 1. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh also reported that on its opening day, the film minted Rs 76 lakh across national chains like PVR Inox and Cinepolis till 10pm. The biz picked up in the evening after a slow start and it can be hoped that the film will register better collections and pick up pace over the weekend.

World Cup; Will Fakhar Zaman be part of the playing XI in the match against Afghanistan?
Fakhar Zaman, the opener of the national team, will not be a part of the playing XI for the match against Afghanistan in the ICC World Cup.
Media reports are claiming that opener Fakhar Zaman has not been able to fully recover from the knee injury due to which the chances of his participation in the match against Afghanistan are slim.
Opener Fakhar Zaman is continuing his rehab from a knee injury and the team management expects him to be fit before the crucial match against South Africa.

World Cup; A big blow to Pakistan before the match against Australia
Pakistani opener Abdullah Shafiq has been barred from non-essential meetings due to viral fever.
According to reports, the opener of the national team, Abdullah Shafiq, is currently suffering from symptoms of fever and flu, taking precautionary measures to prevent the possible spread of the disease.

The national team participated in the practice session yesterday to prepare for the match against Australia on October 20, but the opener did not join the Pakistani team on this occasion either.
