ICC reinstates Sri Lanka’s membership

Dubai: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has lifted the ban imposed on the Sri Lanka Cricket Board.

Yesterday, it was reported that all the Gulf countries have banned the release of the Bollywood film ‘Fighter’, which is made against Pakistan, and only the United Arab Emirates has allowed the release of the film.

With this bad news, the director, producers, actors Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone got a big blow, now another bad news has come out on the day of the release of the film.

According to Indian media, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s anti-Pakistan film ‘Fighter’ has been released in theaters today on January 25, but this film has not been released in UAE.

The report said that after the ban in the Gulf countries, now the release of the movie ‘Fighter’ has been stopped in the UAE, but the reason for this has not been revealed yet.

It should be noted that in this film directed by Siddharth Anand, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone are playing the role of a squadron leader of the Indian Air Force while Anil Kapoor will be seen as a commanding officer.

‘Animal’ to release on OTT

Ranbir Kapoor’s film ‘Animal’ is set to release its extended cut on OTT platform, with additional scenes that were not part of the theatrical cut. The film will be available for streaming from Republic Day, January 26, 2024.

In a recent interview, Sandeep Reddy Vanga had revealed that he has an extended cut of ‘Animal’, which he is planning to release on OTT. Now, looks like that’s happening super soon. If reports are to be believed, then ‘Animal’ is all set to stream on Netflix from Republic Day, January 26, 2024, with an extended version.

The film, initially 3 hours and 21 minutes long, will now have an additional 8 minutes, increasing the total runtime to 3 hours and 29 minutes. It is said that this extended version will include an extra scene featuring Rashmika Mandanna, which was edited out from the theatrical version of the film.

Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff will go to Jordan to shoot movie songs

Mumbai: New details regarding the shooting of Bollywood star Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s new film Bade Mian Chhote Mian have been revealed.

For the shooting of three songs of the film, the artist will go to the Gulf state of Jordan on January 19 with his team and will be accompanied by four to five hundred people, out of which two hundred will be dancers.

The filmmakers had earlier told fans in a post on social networking site X that the film has been shot in 15 cities across four different countries.

The new film has nothing to do with the story of the 1998 blockbuster film ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’ starring Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda.

Prithviraj Sukumaran is playing the role of a villain in the film while Sonakshi Sinha is reportedly also a part of the film.

In the film, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone play the roles of squadron leaders of the Indian Air Force, while Anil Kapoor will be seen as the commanding officer.

Blockbuster ‘Pathan’ director Siddharth Anand is making the action film under Yash Raj Productions and will release on India’s 75th Republic Day.

Fans are eagerly waiting for the film based on the unique story and its release has been delayed several times.

The filmmakers have now given the final date for the release of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ and it will be released worldwide on May 9 this year.

The first glimpse of the film, based on the story of a thousand years after the destruction of the world, was revealed at the Comic-Con festival in America.

The mega film was earlier titled ‘Project K’ and will also feature legendary actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan in action.
