Mumbai: Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan’s mega thriller ‘Jawan’ has broken all opening day business records in Hindi cinema.

According to Indian media sources, the action film directed by renowned filmmaker Et Lee has crossed the milestone of 65 crores on the first day of its release.

Shah Rukh Khan has also surpassed his blockbuster film ‘Pathan’ which had earned the first position by earning 55 crores on the first day.

King Khan’s first two opening day top grossers at the Indian box office have emerged as the true king of Hindi cinema.

The action-thriller film has been released in five languages Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam while the exact figures of local language business and international box office earnings are yet to be revealed.
